Chris Fennell was born in Burlington, VT and has lived in Brooklyn, NY since 1992. He has a B.A. in English and a B.A. in Studio Art from the University of Vermont, and an M.F.A. in Painting and Drawing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He lives in Williamsburg, Brooklyn with his wife and three children. He has shown in New York City, Miami, Philadelphia, Chicago, Seattle, Atlanta, Dubai, Tokyo, and elsewhere. His work is represented in private and public collections in the United States and abroad.
His work was most recently seen in Art Miami (Miami, FL), ATRIUM Art Fair (San Francisco), and an upcoming gallery group show with Karen Imperial Fine Art (San Francisco, CA) , Art In Isolation, , as well as There/There, a two person show with Uta Bekaia at Marisa Newman projects, NYC.
