Chris Fennell was born in Burlington, VT and has lived in Brooklyn, NY since 1992. He has a B.A. in English and a B.A. in Studio Art from the University of Vermont, and an M.F.A. in Painting and Drawing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He lives in Williamsburg, Brooklyn with his wife and three children. He has shown in New York City, Miami, Philadelphia, Chicago, Seattle, Atlanta, Dubai, Tokyo, and elsewhere. His work is represented in private and public collections in the United States and abroad.
His work was most recently seen in Art On Paper, in New York City, NY, with Karen Imperial Fine Art (San Francisco, CA) , Art In Isolation, at the North Dakota Museum of Art, Grand Forks, ND, and Future Fair New York, with Marisa Newman projects, digital marketplace event, New York, NY. In spring 2022, new work can be seen at Art Market San Francisco with Karen Imperial Fine Art in San Francisco, CA, and Future Fair New York with Marisa Newman Projects in New York City, NY.
